The Mobile Biometric Complex (MBC) is equipped with a sensing technology of persons from Ntechlab company — developer of algorithms on the basis of neural networks.
The security level on mass actions is designed to raise MBC and also to provide comfort for visitors.
2018: Announcement
On March 6, 2018 the Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across the Ryazan region together with NtechLab company presented the pilot version of the mobile biometric complex having the optimized system of face recognition. It is supposed that instant video analytics and identification of persons will help law enforcement agencies to recognize for the minimum time the offender in places of big accumulation of people and to transfer in real time supplied the information with summary of perfect offense.
The server of a mobile biometric complex is placed on the chassis of the vehicle of police with a workplace for the operator. MBC is connected to ten cameras mounted on a framework of metaldetectors, at the same time is equipped with own survey camera with optical "zoom" and can analyze a video flow from eleven cameras once.
The system of face recognition allows to identify offenders on mass actions and in real time to send to police officers of the notification with the photo of the person and summary of his perfect offense. The complex is easily transported from place to place, does not require time for system deployment that allows to increase, for example, quickly capacity of points of control of visitors and to avoid queues on an input.
Also as a part of a mobile biometric complex the portable device of biometric identification can be delivered is a mobile device with the camera which allows police officers or a security service to make a photo of the suspicious visitor and to instantly compare it to the persons which are in base of search and also to carry out authentication of documents, having verified the person with the passport photo which is registered by the Office for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The end-to-end information system of protection of public order of the region as because of separation of different segments the modern security system is not perfect is necessary for security of each resident of Ryazan and area — the deputy chief of police of Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia across the Ryazan region (on protection of public order), the police colonel Ivan Bakhilov noted. — The provided system integration can become not only binding thread between different segments of a security system, but also will allow to react instantly to current situation and even to prevent offenses. Also mobile biometric complex will allow to increase sweep rate of the gone people including children. There is a hope that after tests of all opportunities of a complex by law enforcement bodies of the city of Ryazan, it can begin to be delivered also to other regions of Russia. |
According to Ivan Bakhilov, during testing of MBC the sensing technology of persons created by Ntechlab company proved to be as the fastest and exact method of identification of the personality for access control on mass actions. Important feature of this complex is interaction of stationary check-points with mobile terminals that allows police officers to provide control as well in the protected perimeter, carrying out selection checks of visitors.
The mobile biometric complex should become a part of the uniform infrastructure allowing to solve problems of city security in control of public transport, electronic to state services, in the field of health care, education, control of housing and public utilities. All this will allow to optimize work of public authorities — the governor of the Ryazan region Nikolay Lyubimov said.[1] |
