In February, 2014 it became known that tests of the first version of an ecosystem for the market of mobile banking and e-commerce of Moblie Identity - program development of Digital Zone companies and the Golden eagle are finished. On March 1, 2014 start of a pilot project using new technology is planned.
The ecosystem of Mobile identity was for the first time provided at the sixth Business Solutions conference: Banking & Finance 2014 which passed in the middle of February, 2014 in Moscow area. Information product which Digital Zone develops together with the Golden eagle company (the expert in the field of telecommunication services, solutions of the company in total service 300 million subscribers), we will apply in the most different spheres, but first of all concerns the bank industry.
The working name of a product - Mobile identity though its tasks are much wider, than simple identification. It is an ecosystem which integrates business (including banks) and telecommunication companies. In its basis - an opportunity to enter on the Internet portal without creation of the account.
Mobile identity allows to get access to identification services of operators thanks to what clients of the company receive the convenient and personalized services. Among a chance which the technology gives, – solvency assessment on the subscriber's expenses, personalisation of banking services on the basis of data on roaming, increase in safety of Internet banking and purchases on the Internet. Essential problems of new technology - to provide safe purchases on the Internet with the card of bank, to increase safety of Internet banking.
For an illustration of standard options of use of technology Dmitry Zavalishin cited as an example purchases on the Internet or cash withdrawal in the ATM:
'The telecom operator precisely knows what mobile phone is on that side of the canal. He can report about it to the end consumer, mobile application or the website of the company (bank, iternet-shop). As this company knows the IP address of the client and can estimate arrangement of the person to the IP address, having obtained the additional information about his location from the telecom operator, the company compares them. And if they match, it is possible to draw a conclusion that transaction is rather safe. The mobile operator can not provide data on the location of the person, and just answer a question whether there is a subscriber that is more competent in terms of access to personal data. For example, the bank gains to the IP address an impression about where the subscriber is, and requests from the mobile operator whether it matches his real stay: "According to us, the subscriber is on Petrovka Street. Is that so?" If the operator does not confirm the answer, there is a basis to refuse to the client transaction".
