It combines possibilities of the "advanced" OPC server of the most widespread industry protocol of data transmission of Modbus RTU/TCP/ASCII and tools for development of new servers, both based on Modbus transport, and with any other protocol.

Need of implementation actually of Modbus of the server was caused by insufficient opportunities and these or those restrictions in applicability of practically all servers of these protocol which are already present at the market. The program released by INSATOM provides support of all types of conversion of formats of data, shifts of bytes in short and long words, scalings and simulations of values, their preliminary and post-processings using scenarios, calculations of indirect parameters, works with signs of quality, flexible management as group requests, priority poll at management, trace of exchange and many other things. Separately it is necessary to mention communication via GSM modems. The built-in archiving of the data obtained on Modbus allows to conduct their poll with speed, SCADA exceeding high-speed performance or other client, with transfer of result on OPC HDA. Significantly existence of library of memory cards of the most popular devices in the Russian market, for example, of the Aries companies and ICPDAS facilitates configuring of systems.
