In September, 2019 it became known of the Mondly application which allows to learn languages in augmented reality. In such format it is possible to be held virtual lessons and the training talk in 30 languages.

The virtual teacher communicates with the pupil, "listens" to a spoken language and offers an instant feedback. In the virtual educational room there are animals full-scale and other objects that training took place in more playful way.

It became known of the Mondly application which allows to learn languages in augmented reality

The virtual interlocutor implemented in the application appears in the same room, as the user, and speaks with it to make lessons and dialogs by more interactive. The program speaks about shortcomings of pronunciation at once and also allows to practice on a real talk. Then it is possible to listen to them.

In the application several scenes with dialogs are available. For example, it is possible to make friends with somebody in the train on the way to Berlin, to order a lunch at restaurant in Tokyo, to get a job in hotel in Paris, to communicate to the hotel manager in Rome and to be passed by the taxi across Hong Kong.

Voices of all virtual characters in the Mondly VR application are recorded using native speakers

The application of virtual reality Mondly plunges you into colloquial studying of language with the virtual interlocutor. It is an effective method of studying of new words and a phrase. Using modern natural speech recognition and algorithms of interval repetitions, Mondly simplifies studying of language, said in the description to the program.

To learn languages in augmented reality, the headset Daydream, Cardboard or other is necessary. Perhaps, studying of a large number of languages among which is English, German, French, Turkish, Romanian, Greek, Polish, Italian, Chinese, Swedish, Russian and Ukrainian.[1]
