On September 8, 2021, Motorola introduced, according to the company, the first car video system with artificial intelligence support for law enforcement agencies - the M500.
This solution provides more powerful opportunities for a police vehicle to increase awareness and safety, as well as build trust and transparency in communities.
The M500 is equipped with a new analytical system for passengers in the back seat, which automatically begins recording from the car camera as soon as a person gets into the back seat of a police car. This is a big step forward in the automation of everyday police tasks, which is to ensure a reliable recording of the presence of a person in a police car, as well as automatic marking and preservation of video evidence in the incident report.
