In October 2023, the world's first flamingo chair went on sale for long-term computer work. We are talking about the product of Movably.

The Movably Pro model is named flamingo because its design is tuned in such a way that the person sitting on the chair begins to be like this bird. So, the user can lower one leg and put it on a special stand in front. It will turn out to be half a sitting half standing position, in which a person will be more comfortable after a long "sitting" at the computer.

At the same time, the developers assure that in such a pose, similar to that of a flamingo bird, blood circulates better around the body. The effect will be better if whoever is sitting in the chair will regularly change the position of both legs. You can also completely lower the seat and stand.

The chair is fully adjustable and adapts to the person. It is also able to interact with a special application on the phone and notify the owner of the need to change the pose. According to the developers, their chair can sit for hours on end without feeling discomfort in the legs and back.

According to the authors of the project, blood circulation of the whole body will improve with this chair only if the user changes his legs and his position as a whole more often. A study by the University of Waterloo (Canada) found that 100% of respondents reported reduced discomfort after continuous use of Movably Pro stool.

The Movably Pro chair is designed for operation by a person weighing up to 125 kg and growing from 157 to 193 cm. The chair itself weighs 32 kg. According to the developers, the chair is assembled in 5 minutes.
