2019: Announcement

At the end of December, 2019 the Californian company VivaLNK provided the smallest in the world the multifunction medical sensor which removes the ECG, measures the frequency of breath and warm reductions.

According to VivaLNK developers, the Multi-Vital ECG Patch sensor weighs only 7.5 grams. It is supposed that the combination of the sensor and the corresponding set of software development will allow any developer to create medical applications without expert knowledge in the field of hardware and sensor networks.

The multifunction wearable sensor is capable to generate a continuous flow of information: he takes off data of the ECG, registers the breath frequency, heart rate and estimates acceleration and speed of movement. The sensor was developed on the basis of VivaLNK eSkin technology, and its design is focused on the patient. It has the form of a small plaster which is intended for reuse and well is suitable both for stationary, and for remote monitoring of a status of the patient.

The multifunction sensor and set of software development — one more component of strategy VivaLnk Medical Sensor Platform which is intended to accelerate innovations of medical applications. The platform provides the touch equipment which collects a set of data and tells them to cloud applicaions that allows developers of medical solutions to focus on analytics of data and creation of algorithms.[1]
