2024: Image Selection Function for Artificial Intelligence "Mia "
Tele2 has expanded the possibilities for individual settings of the mobile application "My Tele2." Among the changes is the image selection function for Mia's artificial intelligence, as well as the installation of a personal avatar. More than 20 million subscribers use the operator's mobile application every month. The development team "My Tele2" launches non-standard functions aimed at engaging the audience and enjoying interaction with digital interfaces. The company announced this on February 2, 2024.
Earlier, the operator investigated the interest of subscribers in the ability to configure interface elements. Thus, 25% of clients became interested in the customization of the image of artificial intelligence Mia in the mobile application "My Tele2." For February 2024, users can choose the style of the athlete and rock diva. Depending on the customer response, Mia's look will be complemented by new costume variations.
The individual approach is preserved in the mechanics of Mia's work. Under the "hood" there are more than 400 algorithms trained on the basis of big data. On the one hand, AI based on customer-specific interests recommends products and content, in-app mini-games, loyalty programs, gifts, discounts. Thus, it generates a relevant proposal from more than 20 categories. On the other hand, it determines the circle of customers for whom existing offers are most useful. As of February 2024, the recommendation service covers 20% of mobile application users.
In addition, customers can install a personal avatar for their account. Previously, the image was synchronized with the phone book on the user's device, or a pre-installed illustration with a panda was used.
The operator added to the chat with support the ability for the client to send his location using the geolocation of the smartphone, responses to messages and the function of quoting specific points in correspondence with the operator. So, in a month, subscribers sent more than 80 thousand reactions in a chat with operators.

Using Electronic Signature in Retail
Tele2 on October 26, 2021 launched a project to use electronic signatures in retail. The service process simplifies and saves customer time through a contactless method of signing documents. A Tele2 subscriber can switch to a paperless format and receive a digital signature not only in the operator's salons, but also through the My Tele2 application or in his personal account on the website. As of October 2021, 600 thousand customers have already switched to electronic signature.
Tele2 decided to abandon paper forms in order to make service easier and more convenient for customers. Earlier, 18 million service applications and registration forms were sent to the archive annually, which is more than 90 tons of paper. The use of an electronic signature will reduce the costs of logistics and storage of applications, allow customers to sign documents remotely, and reduce the time a subscriber communicates with a retail employee. This is useful for transactions such as changing or setting up a tariff, transferring or returning funds, adjusting data, and many others. In addition, paperless document management corresponds to Tele2's environmental policies aimed at reducing negative consequences for the environment.
The client can express consent to receive an electronic signature upon personal contact to the salon or Tele2 module, having a passport with him. You can also switch to this service format in the "My Tele2" application or in your personal account on the website tele2.ru in the "Profile" section. New subscribers will be able to receive an electronic signature immediately when drawing up an agreement - both at the operator's outlet and during self-registration.
A client who has issued an electronic signature once will be able to use it to confirm the execution of the operation, for example, when changing the tariff. He will come SMS with a unique code that will need to be informed to an employee of the Tele2 salon. In the future, the code will come every time the subscriber applies for a particular procedure to the operator's salon. Start SIM self-registration
On May 28, 2020, it became known that Tele2 added a function to the My Tele2 application. Now subscribers can independently register the first or another SIM-card without visiting the communication salon.
The application "My Tele2" has the ability to self-register a SIM card and a simplified procedure for activating the second and subsequent ones for the operator's subscribers. The client can choose a number and order it in an online store (for new customers) with contactless home delivery, independently, without the help of the seller, take a SIM card for free in Tele2 salons or purchase it in the store at home.
To register your first number, the subscriber needs to download the My Tele2 application from GooglePlay or the AppStore. You should launch it on your smartphone and select the item "Become a Tele2 subscriber," then - "Activate SIM card" and the "Conclude a new contract" button. Metropolitan subscribers of the operator make up about a quarter of My Tele2 customers. The second most popular application was taken by St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, where approximately 7% of its users live. More than 12% of subscribers open My Tele2 to share gigabytes with other users. At the same time, 30% of the operations in the application were carried out by the operator's metropolitan clients. The function is in demand among My Tele2 users from the Volga region, the Urals and St. Petersburg - these regions account for 15%, 14% and 9% of operations, respectively.

Another change is the story feed at the top of the main screen. It allows you to talk about the innovative services of the operator, present offers of the loyalty program "More" and make selections of films. The feed helps the subscriber get practical information about how to use the service more conveniently. Each "story" ends with a targeted action - for example, an offer to join a loyalty program, the developer emphasized.
The middle field of the screen, a row under the virtual "SIM-card," occupies the quick action panel. The functions are selected based on the most frequent customer requests in your personal account. With a quick panel, users can top up their balance, share gigabytes or set up a tariff. At the same time, Apple Pay and Google Pay payment tools are available for recharging subscribers.
Below the quick actions panel is the navigation menu of the main functions, which is created taking into account the emergence of additional services. When launching new products, the operator will be able to easily integrate them into the application. One of the menu sections is "Travel and roaming," where subscribers check the cost of calls and the Internet on trips.
