2022: Video Platform Announcement
In early July 2022, it became known about the creation in Russia of a platform with educational content for extracurricular education for schoolchildren. Advisor to the Minister of Education Anton Nazarov told Vedomosti about this.
According to him, this is one of the projects on which the Ministry of Education is working within the framework of the digital educational environment. The video platform for Smart TV has the working name "My Enlightenment," educational and educational content for schoolchildren will be collected there. By the beginning of July 2022, the department is working on the composition of content with potential suppliers, including the State Film Fund, the State Television and Radio Fund, the Institute for Internet Development, the Russian Historical and Military Historical Society (RIO and RVIO), Nazarov said.
RIO Chairman of the Board Konstantin Mogilevsky said that the community is ready to provide the Ministry of Education with a series of videos "on ambiguous periods of the history of Russia." Experts interviewed by Vedomosti estimate the department's project at 100-150 million rubles.
RVIO Executive Director Vitaly Martynyuk said that "high-quality verified historical content" will be presented on the platform. As an example of such content, he named the author's courses of Vladimir Medinsky "Stories from Russian history. XVIII century "and" Petrovsky times "about Peter I.
It is noted that by the beginning of July 2022 there are no direct analogues to this project. However, educational content is posted in Russian online cinemas, on YouTube and Vimeo. Perhaps the plan to create such a platform is explained by the task of replacing this YouTube function in the event of its blocking, suggested the head of the Internet Video Association Alexei Byrdin.
In May 2022, it became known that the Ministry of Digital Science began selecting suppliers who are ready to provide training content for the "Personnel for the Digital Economy" fedproject for free. Then an additional selection of educational providers began, who themselves expressed a desire to provide free content for schoolchildren and students of secondary professional organizations.[1]
