2023: DWDM N3-8200 Spectral Compaction System introduced with speed support up to 400G
N3COM, a Russian developer of telecommunications network equipment, presented on February 21, 2023 an updated DWDM N3-8200 spectral compression system with support for speeds up to 400G.
N3-8200 is a next-generation data platform for building backbone and urban fiber-optic communication networks, as well as for providing data center connections.
The N3-8200 solution implements a single platform for switching, spectral multiplexing DWDM, data transmission and photonics. The platform allows up to 96 channels to be transmitted over a pair of optical fibers in a standard frequency grid.
The capacity of the system can be increased using an extended frequency range. With N3-8200 performance and FlexGrid ROADM technology, you can increase optical network bandwidth, flexibility, and resource efficiency.
N3-8200 is a standard 19'high 2U chassis and can hold up to 8 slots. The compact design simplifies integration and reduces the required deployment space. In turn, modules with high port density and high bandwidth guarantee the necessary flexibility in organizing optical network services for various tasks.
The platform can integrate many different subsystems: EDFA, ROADM, FOADM, OCM, OTDR, 100/200/400G transponders and MUX ponders. N3-8200 comes with a complete set of software and services, and N3COM provides technical support and warranty service.
The N3COM solution enables telecom and data center operators to accelerate deployment, reduce operating costs, and increase network flexibility and efficiency.
