"the scientific research institute of molecular electronics" in March, 2018 announced development of construction of a cell of a non-volatile memory for application in serially released chips of domestic production of the I level. Reduction of its area more than twice (up to 2.32 mkm2) due to application of technological and circuitry solutions became feature of a cell.
On the basis of a cell the block of a non-volatile memory of EEPROM (Electrically Erasable and Programmable Read Only Memory) of 144KB with the same linear sizes, as the memory block of 72KB used in microcontrollers of development of NIIME was developed. It allows to implement memory block in serially released products: secure microprocessors for end-to-end systems with increased requirements to security and data protection, such as state systems of electronic identification of the personality, including identity certificates, car driver licenses, biometric passports, residence permits or policies of health insurance.
In general doubling of memory when preserving the sizes of the chip will allow to write on new versions of the microcontroller used in the state projects it is much more information.
Also engineers of NIIME developed the operating system which will allow to replace a line of earlier used microcontrollers of different function with the universal chip with the increased amount of memory.
On topology of integrated circuits, memory block and an integrated circuit chip all necessary copyright certificates and patents are taken out.
