Navio allows doctors to carry out procedures for complete replacement of knee structure to which share in the world 80% of transactions for this education connecting a femur, a tibial bone and a patella fall. The device helps to plan and trace the course of accomplishment of transaction without image and also to accurately define an order of implantation of all elements. After that the surgeon uses a tip of an automated system of Navio to reach the injured bone and to prepare it for installation of a prosthesis.

The Navio system began to be used at odnomyshchelkovy prosthetics of knee joints in 2014, and three years later it received functionality for complete endoprosthesis replacement.

The Navio system offers precision accuracy without loss to efficiency. It allows surgeons to control creation of the plan, individual for each patient, in operating rooms and to surely execute transactions with robotic accuracy. Within complete replacement of a knee joint surgeons can do more, than when using standard tools therefore it was succeeded to improve functional indicators of patients — doctor Joseph Burkhardt, working in clinic at the southwest of Michigan (USA) in which the Navio robot was installed noted.

Now we go side by side from Stryker. I am really confident that we will be able to increase a share in the orthopedic market because we have robots, which or the best at our company, or at Stryker — the CEO of Smith & Nephew Olivier Bohuon said, having added that strategic investments into Navio became the most important for the producer for the last 10 years.[1]
