2025: Platform Launch
The Russian company Navio has presented a comprehensive Navio Freight solution for integrating autonomous vehicles into existing logistics processes, including a digital unmanned fleet management platform, smart semi-trailers with sensors and a partner maintenance network. The system allows you to automate the full cycle of cargo transportation without the participation of the driver on the flight, which speeds up delivery by 2.5 times compared to traditional logistics. This was reported by the Navio press service on September 22, 2025.
The technology solves the problems of automation of processes for which the driver was previously responsible - working with document flow, refueling, monitoring the technical condition of the car and the safety of transported goods. The development is based on the experience of commercial operation of the autonomous fleet since 2023.
InThe Navio Freight product architecture consists of four interconnected components. The autonomous truck is equipped with artificial intelligence systems for independent control of the vehicle on the main routes.
The "smart" semi-trailer integrates sensors and sensors to monitor the state of cargo and increase the efficiency of technological processes. The control system provides continuous tracking of transportation parameters and prevention of damage to goods.
The Autonomous Fleet Management Digital Platform provides centralized control over a fleet of unmanned vehicles. The software coordinates routes, distributes orders and optimizes logistics operations in real time.
The partner support network covers gas stations, service maintenance centers, road emergency services and insurance companies. The infrastructure ensures uninterrupted operation of autonomous transport throughout the routes.
Navio Freight Product Director Vladimir Buevich noted that two years ago the company set a goal to introduce autonomous technologies into logistics to improve the efficiency of business processes. According to him, the team investigated the needs of the market and formed a vision of an integrated product for integration into existing supply chains.
