2024: Product Announcement
The Russian underwater drone "Neon," capable of diving to a depth of 50 meters, was presented on June 20, 2024 by the development company "Underwater Drones" (brand Trionix Lab). The drone is designed to conduct research and measurements.
The Neon is capable of carrying a payload of up to 2 kg and is equipped with a video camera, sonar equipment or an echo sounder. Thanks to integrated LBL navigation, the route of the device can be adjusted in real time through a single platform. The dimensions of the drone are 985 mm in length and 121 mm in width, weight - 5 kg. The speed of the device reaches 1 m/s, and the battery life is about four hours.
According to Ivan Putintsev, CEO and owner of Trionix Lab, Neon showed excellent test results and confirmed its reliability and effectiveness. The company's production facilities, located in the Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg, allow the production of up to eight such drones per month with the possibility of increasing production volumes.
"Neon" is a budget and easily modernized underwater exploration solution. The company's design bureau has developed the device in such a way that it can be easily adapted to different tasks and customer requirements.
In addition to Neon, Trionix Lab also developed the Trionix-6M remote-controlled underwater vehicle, which has already been successfully used to survey facilities on Valaam, including inspections of rocks at the bottom and coastlines. As standard, this device can work at a depth of up to 100 meters, but there are modifications with a working capability of up to 300 meters.
The company is considering developing combat underwater drones in the future. According to representatives of Trionix Lab, they analyze the market needs and plan to further develop new devices in order to meet the needs of potential customers.[1]
