NetApp Private Storage for Microsoft Azure

NetApp Private Storage for Microsoft Azure is program expansion of opportunities of IT infrastructure for work with Microsoft Azure and creations of a hybrid cloud environment.

On July 17, 2014 NetApp announced readiness of a new solution of integration with a cloud of Netapp Private Storage for Microsoft Azure.

The combination of Netapp Private Storage and Microsoft Azure provides customers with individual resources of storage of a corporate class in combination with high elasticity and cost efficiency of a public cloud of Microsoft Azure. Azure ExpressRoute connects these resources, providing safe, high-speed communication with the minimum delay. Today, when more and more organizations address a hybrid cloud to increase efficiency of the IT infrastructure, NetApp Private Storage for Microsoft Azure allows the enterprises to build flexible infrastructure which integrates private and cloud resources, reducing costs and increasing economic return.

The technological solution Netapp is created on the basis of a solution portfolio for Microsoft Cloud, the including FlexPod with Microsoft Private Cloud. For the simplified implementation of infrastructure of Microsoft applications corporate customers use such infrastructure solutions as FlexPod of NetApp and Cisco.

This solution expands a portfolio of Netapp for work with Microsoft Cloud, the including FlexPod for Microsoft Private Cloud, and allows customers to implement ample opportunities of Microsoft Azure.

The product Netapp Private Storage is already available to Microsoft Azure in North America. In Europe and Asia deliveries will begin will appear in the nearest future.
