NetPolice Unix Corporate

On August 9, 2011 the Center of the analysis of Internet resources, the Russian developer of solutions in the field of content filtering, presented the specialized solution of NetPolice Unix Corporate for centralized operation by access for employees to the Internet in the companies of small and medium business.

The software solution NetPolice Unix Corporate developed especially for corporate and departmental networks on a centralized basis is established in access point of the organization in the Internet on the proxy server working under Unix-like operating systems. The flexibility of a system provides to the administrator an opportunity to configure as uniform policy of access to network for all employees, and the personified access taking into account professional need for each employee or division.

Corporate policies of usage of the Internet can be configured via the web interface of the administrator on the basis of the list including more than 60 thematic categories of Internet resources. In particular, it allows to limit use at work of social networks, messenger services, forums, chats, file exchange networks and other inappropriate resources of which the considerable volume of traffic is the share. Besides, the administrator can limit use of the Internet only to the websites from the white list or permit access to any resources, except the websites of the black list entered by it. Systems capabilities also allow to enter independently own categories of filtering and to add to them the websites. At the same time the administrator can define what Internet resource will be shown to employees instead of blocked. In the NetPolice Unix Corporate web interface detailed statistics of the visited Internet resources with an opportunity to set different criteria of the analysis – on time, type of users, categories of Internet resources, etc. is available to the administrator.
