On June 7, 2018 Symantec announced as the company claims, a cloud solution, the first in the market, for ensuring network security using isolation of browsers. Such product of the American producer is called Network Security for the Cloud Generation.

It provides a comprehensive cloud protection of network and end devices, reducing risks and providing information security to the companies which transfer the infrastructure to a cloud.

Symantec presented a cloud security system, the first at the market, with web isolation

At web isolation of a session in the Internet browser are processed not  on  the final computer or in  "sandbox", and  far off. Thanks to it web observers protect from malware and phishing attacks without excessive blocking and damage of performance.

Analysts of Gartner predict that by 2021 about a half of the companies will use functions of isolation of browsers. They are implemented by medical and financial institutions, the government organizations and telecommunication companies.

Isolation of the browser is built in the Symantec Web Security Service (WSS) component with which the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) and SEP Mobile systems are also integrated thanks to what Internet traffic is redirected to WSS and need for the certain agent for data flow control is eliminated.

The SD-Cloud Connector technology which supplements WSS creates a simple and high-performance method for connection of branches of the companies with service of cloud security.

Network Security for the Cloud Generation is a part of the Symantec Integrated Cyber Defense Platform platform and allows to redirect web traffic at several levels. A system is integrated with the world's largest network of the analysis of civil security risks and strengthens security policies in the companies to help them to correspond to corporate rules, the press release says.[1]
