Nokia 5G Future X

In February, 2018, announcing chipsets of ReefShark, Nokia provided architecture of Future X for a 5G which forms a basis for creation of new processors, technologies 5G and services.

This architecture represents the full-scale network providing increase in capacity of cell three times and reduction in cost of operation for 30% * that is reached due to automation and artificial intelligence.

Nokia 5G Future X supports the high level of capacity of radio units thanks to a disruptive chipset of ReefShark Nokia. Besides, ReefShark cuts dimensions of Massive MIMO antennas by half, expands possibilities of their installation and reduces energy consumption of radio systems by 64%. The technology of formation of an antenna beam with functions of artificial intelligence allows sledovat networks behind the moving mobile devices, to expand coverages and to increase network capacity where it is really necessary.

Future X 5G network is scaled according to fluctuations of traffic and instantly reacts to emergence of the new services and applications attached to virtual network segments (slices). The solutions Nokia 5G for reference networks, such as Cloud Packet Core, combine cloud architectural opportunities, including program separation of network functions, existence of functional programming elements without a status and their processing taking into account a status, the shared level of computer-controlled data by cloud networks and dynamic management of lifecycles. • AirScale Radio Access Nokia is building block solution for radio access networks. In 2018 Nokia announces more than 20 new products and functions for programmatically the updated radio systems, including the products ReefShark and the most compact modules AirScale in the world for installation out of premises which will help to implement quicker and more simply technology 5G and to reduce total cost of ownership.

• The exciting antennas Nokia 5G AirScale – the solution for applications 5G which need support of mobility, wide coverages, multigigabit speeds and the minimum delay. Among new antennas: AirScale Massive MIMO Adaptive Antennas for 5G networks and LTE, family of the new radio units ready to technology 5G and also new dual compact exciting antennas (Compact Active Antenna) ready to any options of installation in operator networks.

• Small cells of Nokia 5G of Small Cells are new small cells of 5G for installation in premises and on the open area expand the existing portfolio of small cells of LTE Nokia which is considered the best in the industry. New cells differ in compactness and simplicity of installation, they will become successful addition to 5G macro networks.
