2020: Announcement of the cloud Assurance and Experience programs
On February 24, 2020 the Nokia company announced two cloud applicaions which will help suppliers of communication services (CSP) to increase efficiency of the networks and to open for itself new sources of income.
The competition in the market of communication escalates. Operators face need of construction of the difficult virtualized 5G networks which can demand 100-fold increase in number of network transactions. It means that operators need the automated processes focused on subscriber applications and services and considering experience of end users.
Assurance Center Nokia effectively integrates processes of management of failures and performance which existed separately from each other earlier. As a result there is a possibility of the intellectual analysis of deep sources of problems, their prioritization and the automated solution.
Problems are not exhausted by growth of complexity of networks. Operators begin to cooperate with representatives of other industries where they should sign even more often agreements on guaranteed quality of service (Service Level Agreements, SLA). Experience Center Nokia considers experience of subscribers, measures quality of operator services and ties these parameters to agreements of SLA.
Assurance Center Nokia and Experience Center Nokia supplement each other, but work independently, supporting modular approach which is often used by the operators unrolling networks. Assurance Center Nokia focuses attention at the service and network levels, and Experience Center Nokia considers experience of the customer and subscriber.
Both products are based on the Common Software Foundation (CSF) Nokia platform which is created in order that all cloud products of Nokia allowed the customer to select any strategy of implementation freely. From the very beginning of development of CSF in it all requirements of information security were considered. CSF works in private and public clouds at all leading platforms and servers. The high flexibility of CSF considerably simplifies implementation, integration, operation and upgrade of products of Nokia.
Nokia takes the leading positions in the field of practical consolidation of artificial intelligence with the fact that we in Appledore company call Rapid Automated Service Assurance (the fast automated guaranteed delivery of services). It allows to automate work of networks.
