Novell Open Enterprise Server 11
In December, 2011 Novell announced release of Novell Open Enterprise Server 11. The latest version is based on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1, giving to users more flexibility and the choice. Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 simplifies and optimizes management of services of storage of files and printing therefore the client can justify today's investments by cost reduction and performance improvement of the end user.
Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 is the operating system based on SUSE of Linux providing services of storage of files and printing of a class of the enterprise which it is easy to implement and manage. This solution satisfies the needs for functional compatibility, reliability and scalability. The last allows to use flexibility of SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 SP1, giving to the client the chance to select from a large number of different types of support, functionalities of drivers, modules and more than from 8,500 certified applications. Users also had an opportunity to quickly create and turn Open Enterprise Server 11 virtual machines using the SUSE Studio templates.
According to the last note IDC: "Implementing Open Enterprise Server on the Linux platform and considering interrelation and compatibility of a core of a system with the products SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, - the consumer improves standardization which is keyword parameter for decrease in operating expenses at implementation of operating systems".
The release of Novell Open Enterprise Server 11 shows once again that Novell invests in the most significant products and thus undertakes obligations for development of this solution and compliance to his needs of the client.
