2024: NtechMed CT Brain Presentation
The company's medical product - NtechMed CT Brain - has received a registration certificate and is ready for implementation in public and private clinics. The company previously announced its entry into the medical technology market. NtechLab (Ntech Lab) announced this on April 26, 2024.
The NtechMed CT Brain product allows physicians to diagnose ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes and promptly initiate patient therapy. So, based on CT images of the brain, the solution from NtechLab detects one of four types of hemorrhagic stroke, localizes its location in the brain and calculates its volume. In the case of ischemic stroke, in addition to localization, NtechMed CT Brain also issues an ASPECTS stroke severity score, which is an important indicator for physicians.
This product has already shown its effectiveness within the framework of the Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine of the Moscow Government - a project to introduce AI into the healthcare sector. In 2023, more than 20 thousand CT scans of the brain of patients with strokes were processed using the NtechMed CT Brain service.
This solution is seamlessly embedded in existing medical technologies. For April 2024, the next version of the product is being developed. Doctors will be able to work not only with acute ischemic strokes, which are diagnosed only about four hours after the onset of the course of the disease, but also with the most acute strokes that occur at an early stage. This will save a huge number of neural cells in the brain in patients, "said NtechLab CEO Alexei Palamarchuk. |
NtechLab began developing the medical field in 2022. Products for the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, brain tumors, as well as for assistance in decoding CT and MRI of the brain are ready for release.
