2022: Quantum Optimized Device Architecture Platform Introduction

Nvidia has unveiled its Quantum Optimized Device Architecture (QODA) computing platform, which aims to bridge the gap between quantum and classical applications. This became known on July 13, 2022. QODA uses an open approach to quantum computing and its integration with classical systems.

QODA is designed to make it easier for computer technicians to use complex quantum computing (QC) in the development of applications and methods for accelerating workloads.

The high-level QODA language will support all types, and quantum computers its compiler will be available in the ON form of c. open source The Nvidia QODA platform has already received strong support, industries as it can solve many problems in the field of quantum computing.

Nvidia's QODA provides access to quantum processors that are modeled on Nvidia's own GDX SuperPod systems and GPU-based accelerators (graphics processing unit).

QODA uses Nvidia's work in cuQuantum, a highly specialized software that allows customers to develop separate quantum circuits by modeling their performance and performance before actually deploying. With QODA, developers can create full-fledged quantum applications modeled with NVIDIA cuQuantum on GPU-accelerated supercomputers.

Acting as a software bridge, QODA will allow developers to select a graphics processor or quantum processor to perform their quantum tasks. Quantum computers and their Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) are ideal for simulating processes at the atomic level. This could provide advances in chemistry and materials science, from more efficient batteries to more effective drugs.

High-performance computing and artificial intelligence specialists will be able to use Nvidia QODA in the usual classical environment, easily using a probabilistic approach to calculations, which is a hallmark of quantum computing.
