2020: The beginning of installation of the automated multifunctional OmniHub devices in Russia

On April 28, 2020 the OMNIC company announced that it invested 170 million rubles in development, production and promotion in the Russian market of the automated devices "all-water". In April, 2020 the service stations OmniHub began to function in Moscow in a number of business centers and Perekrestok shops. Several months before the company began installation of the same devices in other cities of the world – Hamburg, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.

OmniHub

OmniHub is servisomat, the automated multifunctional device working by the principle of click and collect. It combines in itself functions of the automatic post office and the vending machine, giving to the end customer an opportunity to use different services. Servisomat provides a wide choice of contactless services, access to which can be got by different methods: from mobile application or via the terminal. Using OmniHub users can:

  • purchase ready-made products of a power supply,
  • receive online orders from online stores,
  • order delivery of any food thanks to existence of modules with temperature condition, both cold, and heating,
  • use dry-cleaner/repair services, etc.

Programmatically-hardware the complex is developed and made by OMNIC company based on researches of the University of Berkeley (California).

The OmnicHub platform is open for partners. As of April, 2020 in its ecosystem more than 50 offline services, shops and restaurants and also courier companies which service more than 30,000 online stores.

Service is focused on residents of large residential complexes and also the staff of business centers, visitors of hotels, co-workings, sports clubs and other places of big accumulation of people who appreciate time. OmniHub is multiservice point of self-service which satisfies to rules of appearance and can be located in a lobby of these institutions. The proximity of service 'all-water' to the place of residence or works can save, according to the estimates of experts of the university of Berkeley, to the user till 120 o'clock in a year.

Support sales and will develop network of OMNIC devices as independently, and through franchasing partners. Potential buyers of points of self-service are, first of all, management companies of residential complexes, owners of hotels, fitness of the centers, etc. which want to provide to the visitors the maximum number of services, having integrated proposals of different operators in the territory.

Until the end of 2020 the company is going to set 300 OmniHub-ov across all Russia, 200 of them – in Moscow. For 40% of products the preorder is issued. The total quantity of the working devices in the world for this period will reach 2000.
