2019: Announcement of the minicomputer
On December 20, 2019 the Ruselectronics company reported that it developed the specialized minicomputer based on the domestic dual core microprocessor.
According to the company, technical characteristics of the minicomputer developed by the Omsk scientific research institute of instrument making of Ruselectronics holding allow to use it as a part of communication complexes which are traditionally completed with full-size computers. The minicomputer consists of the computing module and external electric power supply. The computing module has small dimensions – 20 × 17 cm, thickness – 4.5 cm. At the same time the device has the amount of RAM of 2 gigabytes, flash-memory – 4 gigabytes and a solid-state disk with a capacity of 32 gigabytes.
Our specialized minicomputer has wide scope of application. Within the import substitution program the device will allow to replace foreign computers in products of the enterprises of defense industry complex, for example, in the automated jobs of operators in the operating and updated communication complexes. Also our development can be demanded at research institutes and educational institutions. For December, 2019 there is production of prototypes. |
The computing module of the minicomputer is created based on a specialized domestic microprocessor system on a crystal. Existence in structure of the microprocessor of DSP cores allows to make more effectively signal processing in comparison with normal microprocessors.
The navigation receiver GLONASSGPS//is built also in the device Galileo. It allows to receive and tell to the operator navigation data when using the minicomputer in mobile complexes of communication, for example – in transport means.
The computer supports operating systems of ALTLinux, GNU\Linux based on Buildroot and also the protected real-time operating system of Neutrino.
