2024: Support for self-check-in kiosks with baggage collection

ORS on February 14, 2024 announced the introduction of a number of updates to the ORS DCS system. The functional changes are aimed at improving the efficiency and convenience of airlines.

DCS is an airport air passenger dispatch control and control system. It allows you to comprehensively manage the information flow of passenger and luggage data from the check-in desk to boarding, as well as effectively sell additional services to increase airline revenues.

The ORS TWD agent module includes a function that allows employees of check-in counters at the airport to independently manage offline/online check-in and boarding status.

This update allows you to unload DCS operators, increase the efficiency and focus on passengers of check-in counters.

ORS DCS supports the operation of self-check-in kiosks with baggage collection. The racks allow you to independently check in for a flight at the airport, including passengers with luggage.

Employees can now quickly and efficiently enter information about flight crew members through the TWD agency module and print out general declarations instantly. The feature will allow airlines to save staff time.

The implementation of the Minimum Connection Time (MCT) transfer function allows DCS operators to quickly determine the optimal flights for the transfer, eliminating the risks of violation of the minimum connection time. This refinement reduces the likelihood of errors.

The DCS has integrated a function that increases the data transfer rate from the DCS into the "AC Alignment" solution, which performs the correct location of the cargo and seating of passengers based on safety and fuel efficiency considerations of the aircraft. This functionality will save time for airline employees.
