2022: Drilling Computer Presentation
On March 16, 2022, Kirovsky Zavod reported that the combined drilling equipment plants named after V.V. Vorovsky (OZBT, part of the Kirovsky Zavod group of companies) began to equip serial drilling rigs with computers. Five rigs equipped with drilling computers have already been shipped to customers in different regions of the country.
The drilling computer combines a service for remote monitoring of drilling rigs based on telemetry data collection and an online platform for their visualization. Thus, the consumer receives not just a machine, but also objective information about its work, not due to the influence of the human factor.
"The purchase of a rig with a drilling computer brings the customer a double benefit - the ability to earn more and increase the resource of their equipment. For drillers, the meters of wells passed are money: the more meters, the more money. By analyzing the information received from us, they will be able to identify problems in the organization of drilling operations and begin to eliminate them, thereby increasing labor productivity, increasing revenue and profit, " notes the director of OZBT Roman Kondratyev. |
The computer also records all violations of the standard operation mode determined by the certificate data of the drilling rig. This will allow you to quickly take measures and extend the service life of the equipment and optimize its service. From February 1, OZBT increased the warranty period for its equipment from one year to two years, and without increasing the costs of maintaining the operability of the warranty fleet. To do this, the company must be able to monitor the operation of all its equipment from the customer in real time. Therefore, it is planned to equip 100% of the machines with systems for monitoring the technical condition of the main mechanisms that undergo the greatest wear and tear. This will prevent breakdowns and outages of equipment due to timely maintenance, save money and the customer.
As of mid-March 2022, computers are equipped with two models of premium drilling rigs: URB-2D3 and UGB-587 manufactured by Geomash, a subsidiary of OZBT. And over time, other modifications of machines will receive this option.
