Microphone manufacturing
At the end of October 2025, the Octava DM company launched the production of the first Russian wireless loop microphone. The devices are produced within the ZhUK line.
The microphone was developed and assembled at the company's own production base in Tula. The device was created entirely by Russian specialists without the use of foreign technologies. Localization of production ensures independence from foreign suppliers.
The Octava ZhUK model consists of a transmitter microphone and a compact receiver. The device is connected to any recording or broadcasting devices. The microphone works with action cameras, video cameras and personal computers. No special software is required to connect.
The receiver is compatible with both the iOS and Android operating systems. Universal compatibility allows you to use a microphone with various mobile devices. Users can connect equipment to smartphones and tablets without platform restrictions.
Low audio latency allows the device to be used for online communication. Minimal latency ensures audio and video synchronization. This is critical for real-time streaming and video conferencing.
A looping wireless microphone is attached to a magnet to the speaker's clothes. Over the radio channel, the device transmits sound to the receiving device. Magnetic fastening does not damage the fabric and provides reliable fixation.
The compact microphone body is made of shock-resistant plastic. A miniature MEMS microphone is installed inside. Microelectromechanical systems provide high quality recording with small element sizes.
A two-transmitter version is available to record multiple speakers at the same time. This configuration is ideal for interviews and other tasks where multiple people's speech capture is required. Journalists can use the system to conduct conversations.[1]
Launch Announcement
Octava Design and Marketing on June 30, 2025 announced the start of sales of wireless loop microphone systems ZhUK from July 15, 2025.
The beetle consists of a transmitter microphone and a compact receiver (receiver). It connects to any recording or broadcasting devices, including action cameras, video cameras and PCs, without requiring special software. The receiver is compatible with both iOS and Android. Due to the low delay of the audio signal, the device can also be used for online communication. A loop wireless microphone is attached to a magnet to the speaker's clothes and transmits sound to the sound receiving device via a radio channel.
The compact microphone body is made of shock-resistant plastic and is equipped with a miniature MEMS microphone. A two-transmitter version is available, which is ideal for interviews and other tasks where recording of multiple speakers is required. The kit includes: transmitter, charging case, receiver, wind protection, USB - Type-C cable, Type-C - Type-C cable, Jack 3,5-Jack 3.5 cable and Type-C - Lightning adapter.
The beetle provides good sound quality at a distance of up to 300 meters. The microphone can work without recharging for up to 18 hours. The continuous operation time of the transmitter is 6 hours. The charging case is capable of conducting two additional battery cycles.
Specifications:
The general director of Octava DM, Liubov Stalnova, said that the models passed several test stages at the target audience. Based on feedback from users, the company's engineers have assembled a truly high-quality product with advanced functional characteristics.
| We carefully listened to the opinion of our users and, according to the results of pre-sales studies, finalized the ZhUK. The device has become more convenient and reliable. Our loop microphone is a confident competitor to global brands. In the world of content, sound plays a key role. Without a high-quality audio track, no visual effects can create the right atmosphere. The convenient wireless format of ZhUK allows you to freely move during recording, which is especially important for interviews and reports, - said Liubov Stalnova. |
Comparison of Loop Systems
2024: Radio coverage release for bloggers and journalists
On December 25, 2024, Octava DM announced the launch of a line of wireless loop microphone systems ZhUK. The model is available in three colors: black, white and military.
According to the company, the line was created on the basis of technologies previously successfully used in OWS digital radio systems. In 2022, Octava DM presented a vocal digital radio system. In December 2024, the company continues to strengthen its position by offering a product that meets the requirements of modern media production and online content.

= commented on Liubov Stalnova, CEO of Octava DM|Having strengthened our position in the segment of wireless microphone solutions in a few years, we are ready to present the product to a wider audience. The scope of loop microphones is greatly expanded beyond the professional niche industry, like broadcasting and reportage journalism. Loop microphones are becoming an indispensable tool for bloggers, content creators, educational projects and even telemedicine. The needs of the video content industry are growing every year. According to
Market Research Intellekt analytical agency In 2023, demand for audio accessories increased by 20% compared to last year. This trend will continue in the coming years as authors increasingly prefer professional-level sound.}}
With the development of blogging, streaming and video production, sound quality has become a necessary element for successful work with the audience. If microphones of the professional Octava line are suitable for studio conditions, then for shooting in a dynamic environment, the company has developed a ZhUK - a compact and universal wireless loop system.
The beetle consists of a transmitter microphone and a compact receiver that connects to any recording or broadcasting devices. The compact microphone body is made of durable plastic and is equipped with a miniature circular capsule. In addition to the basic version, a package with two transmitters is available, which is suitable for interviews and other tasks where recording of several speakers is required. One system can support up to seven microphones at a time.
Key features of the ZhUK system:
- Sound purity: The circular primer provides clear voice transmission, and the built-in noise cancellation system eliminates extraneous sounds.
- Sound quality in any conditions: The kit provides windproof cases that allow you to record crystal clear sound even in high winds.
- Stable signal: The ZhUK system uses GFSK digital modulation technology, which provides stable connection even over long distances. The ADPCM compression format is used to transmit the audio signal, which reduces the data size by four times without loss of quality.
- Clever controls: Two function buttons - Mute for mute mic and Gain for sensitivity adjustment (0, 6 or 12 dB) - provide ease of use in all conditions.
- Ergonomics: The device is attached to clothes using a clip-fastener or magnet, which allows you to fix it even on fabrics without seams and edges.
- Autonomy: A 100mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to six hours of continuous operation. The charging case included allows you to carry out two full cycles of recharging the transmitter, which increases the operating time to 18 hours.
- Range: The microphone operates at a distance of up to 300 meters from the receiver.
- Ease of use: The system is automatically paired without the need for additional software. To work, just connect the receiver to the device and turn on the microphone.
The receiver is equipped with USB-C and mini-jack (3.5 mm) connectors, which allows you to connect it to any device. Suitable for use with professional cameras, smartphones, tablets (iOS/Android) and another recording technique.
Thanks to the combination of modern technologies, compact design, ZhUK will be a suitable choice for both professionals and lovers of high-quality sound.
In the first quarter of 2025, the company will present an improved version of the system - SUPERZHUK. The model will receive built-in memory for recording audio, which will make it an even more versatile solution for professional and amateur use.
