Olimp Mobilnaia ophthalmologic station

The OLIMP station represents a system for accomplishment of difficult refraction transactions with the help of the solid-state pulsing nanosecond laser. Compact dimensions of the solid-state radiator allowed to reduce significantly the sizes and weight of refraction installation, and modular construction of the body provided its mobility. The possibility of flexible modification of a system and use of set of preset tunings allow to adapt quickly installation for transaction. The built-in functions of control allow to fix all parameters of the equipment and action of operational crew. Besides, the equipment is equipped with the special video system which, thanks to the high-quality image of an operational field, allows the surgeon to perform operations "on the monitor".

2019: Exit operations on laser correction of sight using the Olimp installation

On June 5, 2019 the Ruselectronics company reported that doctors performed exit operations on laser correction of sight using a mobile system for refraction surgery of an eye of OLIMP. The first application of the station out of special clinic showed that microsurgical ophthalmologic operations can be performed in any medical institution where there is a standard operating room.

Within the exit medical program the mobile solid-state laser machine developed by JSC RZP (enters into Ruselectronics) and the Yaroslavl Interregional clinic, was brought to clinic in Cherepovets. Installation of equipment took two hours then the station was completely ready to work. With its help in two days 15 operations were successfully performed.

I would call this event historical. We apply installation to refraction surgery of an eye within the exit medical program. We delivered the equipment, performed start and performed planned activities. Patients had not to go to others city, and after transaction they went home at once, noted Alexander Tikhov, the chief physician of Interregional clinic

The station is already successfully operated in clinics of Yaroslavl and Ukhta, however until recently it was used only as the permanent unit. The provided equipment significantly will expand geography of carrying out refraction transactions. Taking into account territorial features of our country emergence of mobile installation for laser correction of sight is this break in the field of medicine. In the nearest future we plan installation of our stations in clinics of Tatarstan and the Crimea, told Alexey Starkov, the chief executive of JSC RZP
