OmniCdek is the device equipped with the POS terminal with the touch screen of 6.6 inches via which it is possible not only to pay purchases but also to manage the device. Architecturally the software also allows several logistic companies to load sendings at the same time.
2020: Plans of creation of network of 450 automatic post offices
SDEK will build network of self-service together with OMNIC companies. It became known on December 21, 2020.
OmniCDEK for 2021 is going to install about two thousand automatic post offices, for December, 2020 the company locates network of 450 devices. The network develops across all Russia in a balanced way, in plans till 2025 — to provide each resident of the country with automatic post offices within walking distance.
Recently the share of the clients preferring to take away sendings from automatic post offices strongly increased. The Postamatny boom which arose against the background of a pandemic, most likely, will continue to gain further steam. Nevertheless, the delivery share in automatic post offices is still too small — 2-3% in Russia, 10-20% – in other large countries.
The OmniCDEK automatic post office offers users an opportunity to take away orders from 76,000 available online stores independently and at any time: at night, in days off and holidays. The mechanism of receiving sending is very simple: the client at first does the order in online store, selects the next for it the automatic post office, further — receives the text message with the access code to a cell then he enters it on the automatic post office screen, pays and takes away sending. Payment of sending is made via the automatic post office screen by a non-cash method.
On receiving sending less than a minute, as a rule, is required. At the expense of the system of self-service the automatic post office has no queues, and the system of the device completely excludes contact with people, theft or loss of a load. Special attention was paid to security of the platform.
Eight months and three thousand hours left on completion of security systems in order to avoid cases of cracking and the hacker attacks. We brought a system and logic of the program to the ISO standards and received the certificate of the EU. We are not going to be satisfied with what has already been achieved. Total investment in the project for 2020 exceeded 600 million rubles. In the closest three years of investment into the first multiservice network of self-service can make 4 billion more rubles. It is interesting that a considerable part of investments (about 20%) will be directed to development of a software hardware package.
OmniCDEK automatic post offices differ in the high level of technological effectiveness and minimalist style which is integrated into any place of a location, and dilutes an overall picture and the corporate character — Lama adds paints. The lama participates only in the corporate style so far, but function of a virtual assistant will shortly be added.
Automatic post offices of network should combine efforts to spread this service. Our cooperation defines whether this product will exist in such type then. Networks invest billions for creation of a new delivery type, the "service" companies, tenants, service centers and also invaluable users also benefit from a postamatny format.
