openEHR

The openEHR system is the open standard of management, storage and exchange of the electronic clinical records (ECR). All data on human health are stored in openEHR during all his life, and the format of data does not depend on the organization which placed information. A main objective of openEHR NOT is data exchange between EHR systems. The openEHR specification includes: information model and specialized services: for the electronic clinical record, for data storage about demography (patients and the treating personnel), the organizations of medical process, archetypes. Data are stored with support of versions, they are medical and good in law and can be correctly transferred and understood in other medical information system based on this standard.
