OpenScape Office V3

Siemens Enterprise Communications announced the new, third version of OpenScape Office which is designed to increase performance in March, 2011 and to reduce costs on communications of the enterprises of small and medium business.

The product OpenScape Office V3 is constructed by the principle "all in one" and includes unified communications, means of collective work based on the IP telephony, services voice and conference communication, possibilities of call center and a presence status of the employee and also is integrated with social networks and different means for message exchange. The new solution will simplify connection to working services of mobile employees and those who work far off. OpenScape Office V3 will become the most complete product in the market offering unified communications for a segment of medium and small business.

Use of OpenScape Office V3 will help employees not to lose contact with key business partners, to respond quickly to letters and calls on the way or in any place out of office. In a product network scenarios of deployment are applied to systems LX and MX, and network message exchange and a presence status are implemented with an opportunity to work via the open XMPP standard interface. All this will allow to get competitive advantages during the work with partners and customers without increase in communication expenses.

OpenScape Office V3 is developed in three flexible options of deployment that provides individual preference of a system under requirements of business:

• OpenScape Office LX is the new software solution "all in one", ensuring functioning to 250 users. A system is started on the standard server and provides access to services of unified communications, the IP telephony, corporate telephone communication and virtualization;
• OpenScape Office MX is the hardware solution "all in one", ensuring functioning to 150 users. A system provides access to services of unified communications, the IP telephony, a public telephone network and corporate telephone communication;
• OpenScape Office HX is support of solutions for SMB based on a communication framework of HiPath 3000. Provides cost-efficient migration on the full-function platform of unified communications.

Announced Siemens Enterprise Communications in December, 2011 release of the new version of the solution OpenScape Office for the companies of medium and small business. New products will help customers to improve customer interaction and to reduce costs for communications.

In the solution for unified communications of OpenScape Office there was an additional functionality for ensuring mobility, the application for work from communicators and tablet computers and a joint work possibility through web.

Updates concerned three products: OpenScape Office MX is the software solution for deployment of unified communications, capacity — up to 150 users. The solution works based on the IP protocol, is easily implemented and integrated. OpenScape Office LX is the software solution for deployment of unified communications, capacity — up to 500 users. It can be set both on standard servers, and in virtual environment. OpenScape Office HX for HiPath 3000 is the solution on unified communications based on the convergent HiPath 3000 platform for the small companies, supports up to 500 users. It can be set both on standard servers, and in virtual environment, provides smooth transition from a voice communication to unified communications.

As noted, Siemens Enterprise Communications developed the updated OpenScape Office for the solution of key tasks of customers with the help: mobility, means of joint work, flexibility of implementation, virtualization and integration.

Thanks to operation of applications on smartphones and tablet computers, opportunities, usual in a workplace, can be available anywhere now: at ways, houses or in a business trip.

In this version of OpenScape Office the Siemens Enterprise Communications company adapted the solution for ensuring joint work through Web for medium and small business. Now and the small companies can reduce travel costs and trips using creation of the virtual working groups which will be able to work from different places with one document or to hold meetings on the Internet. This option can be also used via smartphones or tablet computers.

Easily deploys the solution and it is integrated into network of the company, it can be set on already used equipment that protects investments. The product is developed so that it was simpler to customers to pass from a voice communication to unified communications.

Besides, OpenScape Office can work on virtual servers now. OpenScape Office completely software solution that allows to virtualize UC and leads to reduction of number of servers, necessary for work.

Also new OpenScape Office has a special plug-in for work of unified communications in Outlook 2010. It integrates all communication tools of the user in a user-friendly and usual interface.
