Optimum GDP (geographically distributed projects) - a management system for distribution.
At creation of the geographically distributed project of management of distribution on the basis of the automation system of mobile trade of OPTIMUM the following management structure can be implemented (generally):
All necessary information from all objects of controlled GO of the territory – from regional offices (representations) to final distributors gathers in the Main Office or Head Office (further GO).
From GO there is an access to any data on work of the sales representatives (SR) of the bottom levels — to the created documents (orders, sales) and visits (merchandising, polls, results of visits). Depending on depth of integration of the automation system of mobile trade of OPTIMUM and the corporate accounting system of the distributor, in GO it is possible to get access and to other useful information — to settlement of the distributor and clients, to a sales history, a goods remaining balance in the distributor's warehouses, etc.
The distributed system on a basis of OPTIMUM provides full-fledged management of distribution, allowing not only to obtain quickly all necessary information on sales and promotion of goods through distributor network, but also to execute of GO necessary corrective actions for optimum performance of distributor network.
From GO it is possible to manage the following parameters of distribution:

- task of parameters of merchandising:
- distribution of goods (existence, feysing, SKU)
- price monitoring (control of the prices) both own goods, and goods of competitors
- monitoring of promotional materials and equipment, both own, and competitors
- setup of MML goods (goods obligatory for sale or promotion)

- creation and control of new activities and polls
At the same time there is an opportunity to select the goods participating in merchandising or other marketing activities and to perform a binding of actions to the distributor, to a server group (region) or to all Territory. After setup of marketing activities, the relevant data and corrective actions are broadcast down hierarchy of servers through technology of replication. If we configured marketing actions in GO, then further it is easy to tie them to any server or to disconnect from it.

The technology is implemented so that goods were brought in GO and "went down" to distributors. The main task — to provide unity and uniqueness of internal codes. The special tool of control of compliance of codes, with implementation of appropriate technology of integration with CIS of the distributor was for this purpose developed and checked on real projects.

By means of the hierarchical (treelike) reference book it is easy to create the structure similar to structure of the company. It is possible to integrate sales representatives in commands on regions: from a set of territories (and the sales representative is unambiguously connected with each territory) the team (group of territories or a geographical zone) which submits to the supervisor is formed. In a command it is easy to throw any territory (sales representative). The technology of commands is convenient for the organization of control over the selected regions — it is possible to form various teams for optimum control: for example, the Moscow command and in its South command, the North, etc. It is possible to organize some levels of enclosure of commands. Each supervisor can select himself and obtain everything given and account on the command. At the same time he can look at data and prepare reports on the command, as at the office, and regional office (if there is such) or at head office. In GO it is also possible to throw easily as outlets from the territory to the territory, the territory between commands, and a command between servers. Such system allows to manage fully the exclusive teams of sales representatives which are based on a basis of distributors.
In a system the special technology of verification of databases of distributors which allows in addition to a technical aspect of check of bases (whether everything data are unloaded in base) is implemented, to organize control of work of distributors, to check some business rules — for example that the prices of the distributor differ from recommended by the producer no more, than for 10%.
Practically all actions which can be done at the bottom level in the automated workplace "Manager" can be transferred on the top level. As soon as some action was transferred to the top level, it should be blocked surely at the bottom level and vice versa.
