On September 28, 2016 Oracle announced replenishment of the Oracle Cloud Platform platform by services as a part of which Application Container Cloud Service.

Oracle Application Container Cloud is a part of Oracle Cloud Platform, uses technologies of containerization Docker and contains in the structure:
- The Java SE Cloud Service — is intended for accomplishment of the Java code which is not requiring complete infrastructure of Java Enterprise Edition has support of Spring, Jersey, Tomcat and Play, can execute the code based on JVM programming languages (Java Virtual Machine) like JRuby, Jython and Closure.
- The Node Cloud Service — is optimized for accomplishment of the functions based on JavaScript, on server side using the Node JS platform. In structure support of popular platforms of Node and the modules npm of the Express, underscore and passport type.
Oracle Application Container Cloud supplements a portfolio of Java Cloud Service which offers the Java Enterprise Edition platform based on Oracle WebLogic Server, the integration Oracle Mobile Cloud platform based on Node.JS and optimized for mobile solutions.
