Oracle AutoVue 20.1
Oracle AutoVue is the platform for support of effective acceptance technical and business solutions on the scale of the organization. Version 20.1 of a product family for visualization of Oracle AutoVue offers the optimized architecture of a corporate class which allows to satisfy all requirements of the organization for visualization of documents, using a single platform.
The AutoVue 20.1 platform offers the new tools simplifying deployment and administration at cost reduction. Besides, AutoVue includes the new opportunities allowing partners and system integrators to develop AutoVue integration tools providing visualization of business processes on the basis of binding of data, visual information and business applications. According to developers, the platform integrates and visually submits different applications and business processes, allowing customers to make optimal solutions, to effectively use information and to unroll the innovation business the processes covering all lifecycle of a product/asset.
At the same time, AutoVue 20.1 provides support of a number of new file formats and includes a set of improvements of accuracy of reproduction for automated design engineering systems of electronic devices (Electronic Computer Aided Design, ECAD), three-dimensional and two-dimensional automated design (Computer Aided Design, CAD) and also documents in the PDF format and office documentation.
In particular, AutoVue 20.1 offers the following new means of increase in efficiency of business processes and productivities of work of specialists: new features of ECAD with a full support of processes from design before production — the customers specializing in production of electronic and hi-tech products can visualize the developed projects thanks to support of not archived files of Cadence now, and production engineers can make the comprehensive analysis of readiness of a product for production thanks to the improved support of options, imposings and polarity; the optimized support of the processes which are based on use of paper documents — customers from the capital-intensive industries which need to print a set of design, production and repair documents can use the optimized functions of printing increasing performance and stability now.
Among the new integration tools available in Oracle AutoVue 20.1 and the specialized solutions intended for development and distribution of opportunities of visualization on all enterprise, it is possible to note the following: active points, AutoVue Document Print Services, expanded API interfaces for text extraction and Desktop Deployment Active X Integration.
So, active points provide visual navigation and accomplishment of actions and also closer integration with corporate applications using linking of visual information with structured data, explained in Oracle. Text elements of the document or drawing will be transformed to the links of active points allowing to perform operations or to open pages in other applications. Such closed visual navigation allows to optimize transactions and processes, providing an information access from different environments and providing an extensive information context.
In turn, AutoVue Document Print Services (DPS) — the new version of services of printing of documents — provides to partners and system integrators an opportunity to develop the solutions for printing providing automation and accomplishment of considerable volumes of transactions of printing of technical and business documentation. Besides, the new version offers additional options of deployment, at the same time is available to Windows platforms and Linux.
Expanded API interfaces for text extraction include support of office documents and providing to partners in development of an opportunity to effectively use AutoVue for satisfaction of all needs for text extraction. Partners can use one solution for extraction and indexing of the text from files of any type, including office documents, two-dimensional and the CAD three-dimensional files, and to create the optimized search index in other corporate applications.
At last, Desktop Deployment Active X Integration represents an integration tool which allows the organizations developing solutions for Windows to build in the user interface AutoVue Windows applications for the purpose of inclusion in other solutions of opportunities of visualization.
Oracle AutoVue 20.2
The Oracle company submitted in the spring of 2012 the new version of the platform of visualization of the documents AutoVue 20.2. The platform uses Augmented Business Visualization (ABV) technology which connects parts of documents with business data from corporate applications.
The new version can be integrated with a portfolio of corporate Oracle applications for support of visualization tools in a set of mobile devices on the basis of infrastructure of Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (OVDI). This functionality is directed to support of mobile work at the housing and public utilities enterprises, the power and oil and gas industry. For rationalization of business processes and accomplishment of the regulating regulations in a public sector and power of AutoVue 20.2 provides operational performing procedures of statements using application of printings and digital signatures. New versions of a set of formats of automated design of mechanical devices (MCAD) and electronic instruments (ECAD) are offered clients from manufacturing industry and the sphere of high technologies.
For corporate deployment the new version includes the improved means of ensuring of reliability and stability and also security according to the Oracle Software Security Assurance standard.
The AutoVue 20.2 platform also includes new versions of services of printing of Document Print Services and the building tools Integration Software Development Kit (iSDK).
