Oracle JDeveloper is the free integrated development environment of the software developed by Oracle corporation.

Oracle JDeveloper gives a development opportunity in programming languages Java XML, SQL and PL/SQL HTML JavaScript, BPEL and PHP. JDeveloper covers all lifecycle of software development from design, coding, debugging, optimization and profiling before its deployment.

The Oracle JDeveloper environment is integrated with Oracle Application Development Framework - Java an EE framework for creation of commercial applications on Java.

JDeveloper is completely written on Java therefore works on all operating systems having JDK.

2013. New version of Oracle JDeveloper 12c

Oracle released the new version of JDeveloper 12c, the press service of the company reported on August 1, 2013.

As a part of updating of Oracle JDeveloper 12c:

• the optimized appearance and windows management;
• the new analyzer of dependences — helps to understand the impact of changes in a program code;
• expanded support of Maven and Git — improves management of lifecycle of applications;
• new means of profiling of RAM and processor resources — help to create more productive and effective applications;
• the new visual editor of JSF, support of HTML5 and CSS3 in code editor and also the new built-in editor of Swing — simplify development desktop and web interfaces.

Oracle JDeveloper 12c is delivered together with the new Oracle WebLogic Server 12c application server - it simplifies development process, testings, debuggings and deployments.
