JavaFX is the platform for creation of functional Internet-applications.
The platform helps to create unified applications with the saturated graphic user interface for start from under operating systems, work in browsers and on the mobile phones including working with multimedia contents.
For the first time the JavaFX technology was shown by SUN Microsystems corporation in May, 2007. On December 4, 2008 there was version 1.0 of the platform.
Applications of JavaFX are created by means of the declarative JavaFX Script programming language. For application development in the JavaFX Script language it is necessary to set JavaFX SDK entering delivery with Java SE 7. From the code written in the JavaFX Script language it is possible to address any Java libraries. Therefore sharing of the Java and JavaFX Script languages helps solve various problems, for example, the logic of the business application can be written on Java, and the graphic user interface — on JavaFX Script.
