Oracle Java as a Service is a cloud solution of support of applications of Java.
On October 21, 2013 Oracle announced release of addition to a portfolio of Oracle Cloud Platform Services - Oracle Java as a Service.
Description
The new solution of Oracle Java as a Service provides full control over the selected clusters of the Oracle WebLogic application server, supports any Java application.
Oracle Java as a Service provides support in development and deployment of Java applications, providing for this purpose:
- the selected server clusters of Oracle applications of WebLogic which work in virtual environment of Oracle VM and are provided to the customer earlier tested configurations
- support of any Java application
- flexible administration control over the application server
- the automated and simplified transactions of installation of the adjusting patches, backup and data recovery, cloning
- other operations on management of lifecycle of applications;
- support of high availability using architecture of the maximum reliability.
