Oracle Mobile Cloud Service is the PaaS-solution of a corporate class for development and deployment of the mobile applications integrated with a server framework.

Development History

2017: Adding of opportunities of chat-bots with AI

On October 24, 2017 the Oracle company announced upgrade of the Oracle Mobile Cloud platform. In this update possibilities of "smart chat-bots" with artificial intelligence technology (AI) are implemented.

The Oracle Mobile Cloud platform involves the basis of artificial intelligence including mechanisms of machine learning, cognitive and information services, dialogue and contextual means, possibilities of deep learning. It helps the enterprises to develop applications which automate dialogs[1].

For example, for determination of the purposes of requests of end users "smart bots" of Oracle use the mechanisms of natural languages (Natural Language Understanding, NLU) based on technologies of deep learning. Such bot can help with processing of dialogs, integrate them with the existing data of business applications and automatically react to addresses.

Additional opportunities of a corporate cloud solution of Oracle Mobile Cloud Enterprise include:

  • enterprise-wide integration which allows clients gives to end users ample opportunities for access to the data which are stored on servers, identifiers of users and the transaction systems;
  • access to key analytics for determination of problem areas, funnels of sales and analysis of a way of the user;
  • sheaves "bot person" for readdressing of a request for people or external systems with preserving of a context and return back to bot opportunities as required;
  • completely integrated management of lifecycle, including development, testing, control of versions and integration with processes of continuous integration and delivery (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, CI/CD);
  • continuous upgrade of a product, access to the updated AI engine and microservices;

2016: Update of Mobile Cloud Service

On September 22, 2016 the Oracle company announced upgrade of Mobile Cloud Service.

Now service provides efficient information and supports interaction in different channels for customer service quality improvement. Oracle Mobile Cloud Service offers opportunities of intellectual and contextual chat-bots (the functionality implementing multilateral online communication of users) in different channels of message exchange Facebook Messenger, Slack, Kik and others is similar.

2015

Service provides to users full access to their applications, Oracle places virtual machines and the cloud storage in the DPC.
