Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3 Series

ZFS Storage ZS3 Series is the system for effective acceleration of deployment and monitoring of virtual machines excluding overloads at start.

On July 17, 2014 the Oracle corporation announced an exit of the updated line of ZFS Storage ZS3 Series.

ZFS Storage ZS3-2

The storage system of the middle class of ZFS Storage ZS3-2 in time is capable to load less than less than 7 min. more than 16 thousand virtual machines at the same time. The OpenStack Cinder driver, for simplification of creation of cloud environments and management by them, the integrated RESTful API control interfaces for providing use of the most widespread methods of deployment of public and private cloud environments to customers of opportunities, providing IT resources as services is added to the Oracle ZFS Storage OS 8.2 operating system.

The Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance systems provide more than 200 PB of resources of storage to solutions of Oracle for deployment of public and private cloud environments.

The complex easily performs workloads of virtual machines with which normal storage systems of NAS do not cope, and offers the enterprises unprecedented levels of overload protection at start of a set of virtual machines.

Oracle ZFS Storage ZS3-2 is scaled up to 1.5 PB of disk space and 1 TB RAM in one cluster, being the powerful and cost-efficient system of initial level of a line ZFS Storage Appliance Series, considerably increasing performance level and efficiency in environments of virtual machines of high density, reducing capital and current costs.

The Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance systems are used for providing more than 200 PB of space in public and private environments of cloud storage in Oracle.
