2023: Creating a "base" for creating software documentation
In the Perm Polytechnic, the "base" was imported to create software documentation. Polytech announced this on February 7, 2023.
Most factories and enterprises try to automate labor-intensive processes to the maximum in order to increase their efficiency, therefore, income. The same is happening in the field of food production, for which various programs are actively being created for February 2023, simplifying the work of personnel or completely excluding the human factor. The developers of the Perm Polytechnic have created an import-substituting web-based decision-making system that provides functions for creating, editing, and controlling the quality of software documentation. Thanks to the technology, programmers will be able to create software products based on the regulations adopted in each specific organization.
The creation of software documentation is an integral part of the process of developing information systems. As of February 2023, the foreign QAComplete system and its analogues are used to test and correct defects in applications, however, it also has a number of shortcomings, which does not allow programmers to work efficiently. The web system created by polytechnics provides developers and testers with powerful tools for interaction, monitoring the progress of work, compiling reports on the results of testing and correcting shortcomings, as a result of which enterprise programmers can easily create programs for controlling raw materials and stocks of products in warehouses, estimating costs, controlling gross profit and calculating the profitability of each type of product and others.
The web system itself allows you to flexibly manage the process of developing software documentation when creating applications. It is possible to track the status of the documentation while working on it. An important feature is the ability to control and assess the quality of documents compiled by novice specialists - the testing process can be carried out by a large team, and training of new employees is required (for example, students or graduates of universities, technical schools) drawing up documents in accordance with the regulations adopted in each specific organization, - said one of the developers, associate professor of the Department of Information Technologies and Automated Systems of the Perm Polytechnic, candidate of technical sciences Ivan Polevshchikov. |
As an example, the study describes the development process based on the web system of software documentation for the application "Determining the optimal diet." The objectives of the program are to determine the recommended daily consumption rate of the product created at the enterprise. The technology will control the official consumption standards and regulations of nutritional value in terms of their compliance with the acquisition goals and declared consumer properties, recipes, specifications. To do this, the application will include a list and amount of all nutrients, data on the minimum daily human need for each type of nutrient, data on the weight and calorie content of the future product.
Scientists of the Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K. G. Razumovsky and ROSBIOTECH took part in the development of the "base" for creating software documentation. If desired, the web system can be used not only in the food, light, electronic industries, as well as in university departments when performing scientific and technical projects including software development. The technology is capable of solving the problems of import substitution and ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country, researchers say.
