On September 21, 2018 the Rostec company reported that since 2020 it is going to begin serial production of consumer electronics with technologies of Internet of Things. The prototype of the first device - perspective model of the refrigerator for the smart home - is created by specialists of the POZIS plant.
As it was reported, refrigerators of POZIS will be able independently to monitor existence of products, their expiration dates and to do orders in online stores.
Similar devices and other modern digital models within several years will become a basis of a product line of POZIS. For mastering of their serial production the plant implements the large-scale investment project worth 2 billion rubles. Said it during the visit on the POZIS plant the CEO of State Corporation Rostec Sergey Chemezov.
According to representatives of the company, the investment project implemented on JSC POZIS provides expansion of a lineup using digital technologies and also upgrade of production with implementation of modern industrial robotics. By September, 2018 at the plant are already put into operation of 7 automatic transfer lines for production of case elements of refrigerating devices. Thanks to it manual work at the enterprise is minimized, performance grew almost twice.
