2016: Three tariff plans

PROMT Cloud API allows to use technologies of online translation of PROMT both on the websites, and in any programs where work with a continuous flow of texts and documents in different languages is required. For 2016 the product is available in three basic complete sets, and thanks to API is integrated into any project.

Cloud solutions remain one of key trends of the last time. Growth is observed not only in the world market, but also in Russia: in 2015 the volume of the local cloud market increased in relation to previous year by 38%, noted in the company. The cloud product of PROMT is designed to help as the international business, simplifying for the foreign companies entry into the Russian market and adaptation under needs of Russian-speaking consumers, and to the domestic companies, providing integration on the international Wednesday at comfortable conditions.

The module PROMT Cloud API is built in any website, the application or online store, and provides instant translation of a multilingual information stream on the Internet, including descriptions on the website and dynamic user content (blogs, responses, comments) on different languages taking into account subject of content. According to developers, cloud computing of PROMT is applied in work of the international tourist service TripAdvisor, a mail service of Mail.Ru, image bank of Phototimes and many other projects. Their use and in electronic document management systems is possible that shows experiment of implementation of a language translation technology of PROMT in the international Amadeus booking system. Except the translation of texts and documents, PROMT Cloud API offers also the API dictionary.

So, PROMT Cloud API is submitted in three complete sets. By Translate API — the basic complete set — supports 14 languages and 16 specialized profiles of transfers. It allows to translate unformatted texts, HTML documents and the websites in different browsers. The minimum cost of monthly service is 2375 rubles.

Lokalize API — the expanded version — will be to the customer slightly more expensive — from 3575 rubles a month. It includes 20 languages (European, Asian and the Middle East) and 109 specialized profiles of transfers and also a possibility of thinner linguistic customization on demand. Using this complete set it is possible to translate any unformatted texts, documents ((DOC(X), XLS(X),PPT(X),TXT, PDF, XML) and texts on images (JPEG, BMP). The web interface of the administrator, the web interface of the translator, client applications is available to the customer to instant translation in third-party programs on different platforms and a plug-in to SDL Trados Studio to professional translation.

At last, the third complete set — Dictionary API — will be suitable for educational projects, the websites on studying of language and also for integration in readers and mobile applications on different platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile). Dictionary API is an electronic dictionary on seven languages with the complete dictionary reference and morphology. The cost of monthly service begins from 3600 rubles.

According to developers, PROMT Cloud API is capable to execute the translations of texts and documents of any volume with preserving of initial formatting. Asynchronous translation is available to documents of the big size. Thanks to PROMT Cloud API technology it is easy to embed automatic translation in the application or the website in any programming language. For developers the description of translation methods of PROMT and also examples of applications with the source code on C#, Java and PHP are a part of SDK.

2011: Translate.ru API и PROMT Cloud

The PROMT company reviewed rates and lease term of the API and developed two main options – Translate.ru API and PROMT Cloud. With their help instant translation is built in work of Internet services, chats, forums, e-mail, the systems of internal document flow of the company.

Clients will be able to select the solution, optimal for them, the simple or difficult solution, with settings or without, for a startup or for the international corporation. Anyway, the lease price (from 284 rub for 1 million characters) will be many times less than the purchase price, and opportunities – the same, said in official release of the company.

Translate.Ru of API is focused mainly on integration into the websites and provides functionality of an online service of Translate.Ru, and PROMT Cloud is expected integration into document flow and office use.

Ready settings of transfer in PROMT Cloud exist for 35 industries among which power industry, oil and gas, mining and metallurgical industry and also finance, IT, telecommunications, trade.

PROMT Cloud has a number of functional differences from Translate.Ru of API and has more wide functionality. So, it supports more formats (the unformatted text, HTML document, XML, the documents MS Office, the documents OpenOffice, PDF), has the web interface for work and settings.

Besides, clients of PROMT Cloud need a dedicated server and expanded technical support. Rent PROMT such companies as, for example, Mail.Ru, VimpelCom, TripAdvisor and others.

Completely tariff line looks as follows. Modifications of Home, Basic, Business, Proffesional are available, and in Home PROMT Cloud it is not provided. The annual license Home for Translate.Ru of API costs 30 thousand rubles and assumes transfer of 60 million characters (installation in all modifications is paid separately).

The Basic license costs for API and Cloud 50 and 120 services one thousand respectively and grants the right to processing of 120 million characters and 12 million words respectively. For Business it is necessary to pay 90 and 220 thousand respectively for 240 million characters for API and 24 million words for Cloud. In the version of Proffesional at the price of 170 and 400 thousand rubles the right to transfer of 600 million characters or 60 million words is respectively granted.
