2020: Start of remote identification in mobile application

PSB started remote biometric identification through mobile application. On December 22, 2020 Rostelecom reported about it.

PSB started service of remote identification in a Single biometric system through mobile application. Now using the mobile phone it is possible to open the account or a deposit, to issue a consumer loan and even a mortgage. To become the client of bank and to use its products and services, it is enough to undergo remote identification in a Single biometric system and the Unified identification and authentication system through mobile application. Earlier deleted identification could be undergone only through Internet bank.

To become the client of PSB, it is necessary to download mobile application of bank in AppStore or Google Play, to click data biometrics"Use", confirm mobile phone number and provide consent to processing personal data. After that a system will transfer the client to mobile application.

Remote identification is available to the citizens who handed over the data in a Single biometric system as which operator Rostelecom acts.

Development of digital channels of service — one of the priority areas of work of PSB. It is important to us to offer the client not only profitable products, but also to make interaction with bank the simplest, fast and convenient. We from the first conceptual phases participate in creation of a Single biometric system, using and expanding its opportunities for convenience of our clients. In the fall of 2018 of PSB started service of acceptance of biometric data at offices, since September, 2019 the client of bank it is possible to become, having undergone remote identification in Internet bank. Start of remote identification in mobile application will allow the citizen to become our client and to receive a full range of banking services in any place and at any time, only the smartphone and Internet access for this purpose is required — the head of competence center of the innovative technologies of digital business of PSB Olga Aleksyuk told.

A single biometric system was created that citizens could remotely, it is safe and convenient to receive services which require legally significant confirmation of the personality. Implementation of remote identification through mobile application seems growth of number of mobile Internet users an important step on the way to complete digitalization of banking services — the director of digital identity of Rostelecom Ivan Berov noted.

2015: Updating of functionality of the application. "Transfer from the Map on the Card" function

Promsvyazbank provided new opportunities of mobile bank in January, 2015. So, in the updated application of PSB-Mobile for private clients the "Transfer from the Map on the Card" function is implemented, the rewards program PSBonus is added and some other improvements is implemented.

Transfer from the map on the card can be made, including, without authorization — it is enough to click on an icon on the homepage of the application. The service allows to make a transfer between cards of payment service providers Visa and MasterCard and is available to all users of the application — clients and not clients of bank.

In upgraded version of PSB-Mobile information on the number of the saved-up points on the rewards program PSBonus and the statement on the bonus account is available to the user. The program allows to accumulate points for any card transactions and to spend them, paying services of bank and the partner companies and also to convert bonuses into money or to translate them to other clients of bank.

Also in the new version of PSB-Mobile the design is updated and a number of additional improvements is implemented: there was an opportunity ahead of schedule to close a deposit; information is added to the account statement (a remaining balance for the beginning and the end of the period, an arrival/expense of means), process of confirmation of transactions is optimized. For convenience of the user when filling parameters of transactions hints are displayed.

2014

Updating of functionality of the application

On May 26, 2014 it became known of the beginning of submission of the updated application of PSB-Mobile by Promsvyazbank for clients - individuals.

Mobile application of PSB-Mobile is available from Apple Store (to mobile devices of Apple) or Google Play (to mobile devices on the Android platform).

The design is updated in the application and navigation is reorganized — there was a side menu in which all main sections appendices are contained and also for convenience of the user an opportunity in one click to switch between the main screens is implemented. Right after authorization the client sees all summary information on the cards, accounts, deposits and the credits.

Function of search of the ATMs, departments and outlets providing discounts to clients of Bank is added to mobile bank. In a card of the account or map to the client the statement for the last week is displayed at once. Besides, now it is possible to submit the online request for products of bank to PSB-Mobile.

In PSB-Mobile clients can monitor a status of accounts, maps (including, to block cards), deposits and the credits, to create statements, to browse account details, to make payments, to send money transfers, to exchange currency, to create and manage templates, to make monthly payments on the credits, to fill up e-wallets and also to monitor news of bank. Mobile application provides to clients of bank information and location-based services: the addresses of departments and ATMs with a possibility of creation of a route (on the basis of Yandex Maps and Google maps of Maps).

• find the nearest bank department or the ATM;
• leave the comment about work of bank department;

PSB-Mobile – the application of new generation is developed for OS Android v.2.2 above and iOS.
