2014

Description of CppCat

The plugin finds complex errors in C/C + + code (logical errors, typos, errors of indeterminate behavior, etc.) in addition to the usual compiler warnings. CppCat is designed specifically for C/C + + programmers using Visual Studio, which made it possible to take into account the features and needs of this narrow group of professionals.

Features

The developers propose to consider CppCat as a compiler extension that conducts full-fledged static code analysis. As part of the functions:

  • search for errors in the C/C + + code;
  • Check the entire project code and list all errors found.
  • the ability to automatically check recompiled files and a list of errors found only in these files;
  • requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012/2013 to work.
