2020: Decarte representation

On March 31, 2020 Zdrav.Expert became known that Decarte – a concept from "an incubator of the ideas" of Game Changer Catapult of the Japanese corporation Panasonic will be able to replace regular preventive visits to the stomatologist. This small nice gadget will allow to carry out regular the check-apy of teeth in house conditions and also through a special application to contact your stomatologist and to get remote advice about gravity of problems and need of personal visit of clinic.

Many people do not love dentists. Decarte developers decided that early diagnostics will help to reduce risk of difficult diseases and will make care of teeth a pleasant daily routine.

In the Decarte form – something between the handle and the cosmetic gadget. However in it - quite serious patent technologies of Panasonic for shooting, processing and image understanding.

Using the high-speed camera, the device fixes appearance of teeth in all projections. The special form and bright LED illumination allow to glance in the most distant corners where even the stomatologist with the pocket mirror will not reach.

For start of the mode of diagnostics to the user will be to press the button enough, and then to bring the gadget to an outer, chewing or internal surface of teeth and to carry out slowly on all row – for example, from right to left. In the course of Decarte will do macroshooting of teeth in HD at a high speed.

After this image will come to the Decarte application on the smartphone. The program, in turn, will save "selfie" of each tooth, will clean and will analyze images, and the result will provide on stylized to the scheme of a mouth. Depending on character and danger of the revealed problems each of them can be highlighted in the color. Red – "oho and in this tooth, apparently, caries". Blue – "the attention, a gum inflames". Yellow – "and let's clean this tooth more feasibly, the raid is visible here".

The application will be able to give basic advice on care of teeth, it will allow to share images with the stomatologist that that could render remote consultation or fix time for personal visit of clinic.

Panasonic developers are sure that their solution can be useful for persons of all age. Thanks to existence of individual replaceable nozzles of one device will be enough for all family.

Engineers of Game Changer Catapult continue work on a concept of Decarte and study possible demand for similar devices and services.
