2025: Product Announcement

In early October 2025, Panda Surgical announced a next-generation robotic platform involving the use of portable tools. The system is designed to perform complex neurosurgical operations.

Minimally invasive methods are used to treat tumors and pathologies deep in the brain and spinal cord, which are less risky than open neurosurgery. However, operations in limited and hard-to-reach areas are extremely complicated. Therefore, such advanced neurosurgical procedures are performed only in specialized centers in certain geographical regions. Panda Surgical's robotic platform is designed to simplify the implementation of such interventions and make them more accessible to patients.

The technology involves the use of portable surgical instruments that provide increased maneuverability and control in a limited space. Additional support is provided by specialized software based on artificial intelligence, which simplifies decision-making. Thus, surgeons are able to perform complex minimally invasive operations with high accuracy and minimal risks.

At the same time, Panda Surgical announced a funding round, in which $1.34 million was raised for further development. The funds came from Oxford Investment Consultants, New Wave Ventures, UCL Business, et al. The money received will be used to further develop the robotic surgical platform.
