The house Expert 14 – a software package of a full range of solutions for daily control of hard drives.
On June 23, 2014 the Paragon Software Group company announced release of the updated software package the House Expert 14.
A system is compatible to the Windows 8.1 operating system. As a part of the updated product more than 20 powerful tools for conversion of the hard drive and increase in efficiency of its use.
The house Expert 14 represents the new pVHD format which is specially developed for storage of backup copies of virtual and physical machines. Now users can create the backup copy of data, and in the PBF format of files, and in the new pVHD format (Paragon Virtual Hard Disk).
The pVHD format is effective for creation of incremental backup copies, deduplication of data and synchronization. In the pVHD format the size of the backup copy can be up to four times less than the original. The new format of storage of archives in the form of virtual disks (pVHD) 10-multiply accelerates creation of the incremental copy, in comparison with the traditional PBF format.
The house Expert 14 provides data transfer on SSD drives. The solution reduces the section size on a target disk by means of an exception of data in the course of migration. Contents of the hard drive with a size of sector of 512 bytes can be copied or are recovered on the hard drive with other size of the sector.
The house Expert 14 provides complete I will support uEFI under Windows, WinPE and Linux, including the backup capsule, compatible to uEFI. The P2V-assistant supports the physical uEFI configurations, allowing users to migrate from physical in the virtual systems in several clicks. The master of the OS P2P-setup provides successful migration of physical Windows system on other hardware platform, including under Windows 8.1.
