2020: Announcement X-ray Vision - the tool for automatic repair of the broken RPA systems

On July 14, 2020 Pegasystems announced an output to the market of the software tool X-ray Vision which allows RPA systems to eliminate errors independently. Using machine learning updating of AI models will be performed without intervention of the person.

X-ray Vision developers aim to solve a problem of failures of bots. The tool is focused on detection and correction of program bots. For achievement of these purposes creators X-ray Vision implemented support of components of Pega RPA (a part of an application package of Pega Infinity).

Failures in functioning of bots can be observed when there are changes in user interfaces of applications and processes. Results of the research organized by Pegasystems in 2019 showed that 87% of the companies face problems of functioning of bots from time to time. X-ray Vision represents importance as incidents can lead to idle time and essential housekeeping overheads.

Pegasystems started the tool for automatic repair of the broken RPA systems

The company noted what X-ray Vision uses own Deep Robotics technology using which it is possible to establish connection between bots and a management system for applications, to effectively use algorithms for creation of bots and their service. It is known that the X-ray Vision tool will be included in the new version of Pega RPA which will be available for sale in the third quarter 2020.

The vice president for digital automation and robotics in Pegasystems Francis Cardin explained that using the product X-ray Vision of the company it was succeeded to solve one more key part of a puzzle of automation, having provided improvements for RPA at the global level. X-ray Vision will make bots faster, easy-to-work and long-lasting, and RPA systems will become more reliable element of any enterprise which takes advantages of solutions for process automation.^[1]
