The product family of Spectra Enhanced of the Pelco by Schneider Electric brand was filled up in the spring of 2015 by the dome S6230-FW/PG and S6220-FW/PG IP cameras which are equipped the 30th and 20th with a zoom lens, a highly reliable turning gear with panning on 360 ° and an inclination on 180 °, and are calculated for internal video filming. Along with support of broadcast of Full HD of video for 60 fps, new IP cameras with PTZ support SureVision 2.0, stabilization of the image of EIS, WDR 130 of dB and technology of a power supply PoE+. Besides, S6230/S6220-FW/PG allow to program up to 256 preset, to use 9 modules of analytics from Pelco, the memory card microSD and effectively work under control of corporate software of Pelco VMS VideoXpert or ONVIF - compatible software of third-party developers.
Each IP camera consists of three main parts: the chamber block with a turning gear, the strong aluminum body and a dome from polycarbonate — transparent or smoky. Such construction and equipment by a 20-and 30-fold zoom lens allows to use new IP cameras with PTZ for video control in premises of different function, big on the area, whether it be warehouses, production workshops, offices of the open space type, the covered sporting venues, etc. where it is required to provide big "coverage". At the same time PTZ models with the index – FW provide cut-in installation, and – PG — suspended installation.
New IP cameras are easy-to-customize also operation. For access to their video it is possible to use the standard web browser or software of Pelco Digital Sentry or Endura with all necessary functions for control of the video system. Besides, these IP cameras with PTZ provide access to video from smartphones through the Pelco Mobile App application. Unlike models of the previous generations, all IP cameras of the Spectra Enhanced series are integrated into the latest software package Pelco VideoXpert providing multichannel record, synchronous video playback from archive from several cameras, data processing from the built-in video analytics, etc.
The image with the Full HD resolution sufficient for video control even behind especially important protected objects, new IP cameras create using the 2-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor and corporate Pelco technologies for processing of video. All IP cameras with PTZ of the Spectra Enhanced series have dynamic range, expanded to 130 dB, thanks to what transfer the detailed image without flares and shading on all frame. Moreover, these PTZ cameras are capable to execute video filming with the broad range of illumination levels up to 0.025/0.008 lx (250 ms) in the color/black-and-white mode.
Broadcast of 2 MP videos can be performed in the M-JPEG and H.264 formats (High Profile, Main and Baseline) with update rate to 60 frames per second therefore IP cameras of the Spectra Enhanced family will transfer the sharp image of fast-moving objects or the fast-proceeding technology processes. In addition to it, IP cameras with PTZ support double-stream video broadcasting at which parameters of the second flow will depend on settings of the first. Together with video transmission on network, each PTZ model of a series is capable to write and store video files on the built-in memory card with a capacity up to 32 GB.
The reliable rotary and oblique IP cameras mechanism with a positioning accuracy of ±0.1 ° provides continuous rotation of the video module on 360 ° with a speed up to 280 ° / with at the movement on presets and up to 80 ° / with in the manual mode, and its inclination on 180 ° with speeds of 160/45 ° / with, respectively. For each IP camera with PTZ it is possible to appoint up to 256 presets and 16 rounds of patrol, and "smoothing" of possible fluctuations of the picture upon transitions of the camera on presets is executed by the system of electronic stabilization of the image (EIS). It is important to note that the PTZ mechanism of new products automatically adjusts turn/inclination speed at change of multiplicity of a zoom lens.
