1.3-megapixel rotary IP cameras of the Spectra HD series of Pelco by Schneider Electric company use 1/3" a CCD matrix with WDR, a 18-fold zoom lens and a high-speed rotating device with a guidance accuracy ±0.1º. For the round-the-clock video filming of innovation use the mobile IK-filter switching the day/"night" modes and have sensitivity in the color/black-and-white mode of 0.07/0.02 lx. These dome rotary cameras can broadcast on network 1 or 2 of a video flow with the permission to HD 960p at 20 fps or 720p at 30 fps in the H.264 and M-JPEG formats, are equipped with the detector of the movement and support the functions Auto Tracking, Auto Flip and PoE technology.

A series of the new cameras Spectra HD includes models for video filming in street conditions and in premises which have the strong body of dome type, the chamber block with a high-speed rotating device and a transparent or smoky dome. At the same time outdoor cameras differ in tightness of construction of the body (IP66), existence of the heater, fan and a sun-protection hood, and can work uninterruptedly at temperatures from -51 ° up to 60 °C. Irrespective of model, these dome rotary cameras use a 1/3-inch CCD matrix with a high dynamic range, are equipped with a zoom lens with 18-fold optical increase and provide the round-the-clock video surveillance.

Additional opportunities for security video surveillance are provided by a high-speed rotating device of the cameras Spectra HD which allows to execute continuous panning on 360º with a speed to 400º/с and an inclination with a speed to 200º/с, and the positioning accuracy of the dome camera is ±0.1º. Due to support of function of proportional PTZ, these dome rotary cameras are capable to reduce/increase the speed of turn and an inclination of the chamber block is proportional to change of multiplicity of a zoom lens. Besides, the rotating device of the camera can be programmed on 255 presets, including, for work on the schedule, and on 16 rounds of autopatrol.

Unlike earlier dome cameras of a line Spectra, new HD models are capable to broadcast video flows with the resolution up to 1.3 Mpx and allow to conduct effective observation with high detailing of a frame, for example, at the airport, at the station or other similar objects. Besides, all dome rotary cameras of a new series support two codecs — traditional M-JPEG and economic H.264, and can transfer on network one or two of a flow of video with individual preferences of parameters of everyone. When choosing the maximum permission of a flow of 1280х960 px. its frame rate will be no more than 20 fps, and at a speed of 30 fps permission decreases to 1280х720 px.

Setup of operating parameters of the rotary camera and its further administration can be performed on network via the web browser locally or far off. Within uniform VLAN based on Spectra HD it is possible to create IP video systems with simultaneous monitoring to 16 rotary and stationary cameras Pelco. Moreover, new dome rotary cameras have built in by software with an open architecture, are compatible to the Pelco Endura system, to registrars DVR5100 and the software of Pelco DS4U and DS NVs. Also these dome models will be integrated into software of such famous producers soon as Milestone, Lenel, Cisco, etc.

For observation process automation, new dome IP cameras support function of autotracking Auto Tracking which allows to monitor movement of this or that object in the predeterminated sector, and holds it in sight of the camera during the time determined by the operator or so far an object will not leave this sector. Besides, dome rotary cameras can execute an inclination in the vertical plane on 180º and "watch", for example, the person passing directly under the camera thanks to the Auto-Flip function.

Reliability and safety of work of Spectra HD in network is ensured by support of the wide list of network protocols. For autoconfiguring in network of the camera use UPnP service, for automatic receiving the free IP address — the DHCP protocol, etc. and also can broadcast video in the Unicast/Multicast modes. If dome rotary cameras function in the Unicast mode, access to their video flows is opened for no more than 20 users at the same time whereas at broadcasting broadcast of Multicast, they make available video flows in H.264 format to unlimited number of users. Protection of video from dome cameras from unauthorized access is provided by multilevel authentication.

S5118-EG0/1 model is intended for the organization of video surveillance in difficult street conditions.
